Fonts that looks good on your droid
The font that Android use called as "Droid”, is the product of two years collaboration. Ascender’s Steve Matteson designed the Droid font family to provide the reading comfort on the mobile phones. These fonts were optimized to be used in web browsers, application menus and for other screen text. Following are few types of Android fonts.
1. Droid Sans Regular and Bold
These are humanist sans serif typefaces. It was designed with an upright stress, yet friendly appearance and was optimized for comfortable reading on mobile devices.
This font comes with non-proportional spacing that helps in showing text in a tabular manner. It has outstanding legibility distinctiveness in its letterforms.
3. Droid Serif
Droid Serif was intended for comfortable reading on mobile screen. Open forms, sturdy serifs and Vertical stress contribute to the readability of Droid Serif.
